Asessippi Ski Resort closed out another unforgettable winter season with the 2025 Slush Cup, held on Sunday, April 6—and this year’s finale was one for the books.
With over 60 brave participants, the event hit a record high for registrations, making it the largest Slush Cup in resort history. Guests lined the edges of the Jack Rabbit run to cheer on skiers and snowboarders as they launched toward the icy water, many in full costume and full send mode.
From banana suits and retro onesies to full superhero gear, the creativity on display matched the energy of the crowd. Some made it across the pond in style, others made a splash—but all were met with cheers, laughs, and applause. Prizes were handed out for standout performances, including best skim, most outrageous wipeout, crowd favourite, and most creative costume.
The Slush Cup has long been a beloved Asessippi tradition, and this year’s edition truly captured the spirit of the hill: fun, fearless, and full of community pride.
“Slush Cup is always a highlight,” said Shannon Johnston, Assistant Manager of Asessippi Ski Resort. “To see so many people come out, participate, and cheer each other on—it was the perfect way to end the season.”
Asessippi now shifts gears into off-season mode with Asessippi Weddings keeping the summer calendar full, while preparations begin for the 2025–26 winter season.
