Additional information
This 4 or 8 week lesson program is for children ages 6 – 12 years. It takes beginner or intermediate skiers and turns them into confident, skillful and safe skiers. Starts the second week of January! Register early as class size is limited.
Cost:
- 4 weeks is $185 + GST
- 8 weeks is $360 + GST
Dates: Saturday, January 5, 2025 – Sunday, January 26, 2025 or Sunday, January 5, 2025 – Sunday, March 2, 2025

Lesson cancellation policy: Cancellations received within 24 hours of scheduled lesson are subject to a 50% cancellation fee

Private Lessons
Private Lesson – 1.5 hours

One on one instruction for skiing or boarding. For specific, concise and thorough feedback that will progress your technique and confidence further than ever before. Lessons tailored exactly to your needs.
Private Lesson – 3 hours

One on one instruction for skiing or boarding. For specific, concise and thorough feedback that will progress your technique and confidence further than ever before. Lessons tailored exactly to your needs.
Private Group Lesson
$82.95 for the 1st person and $50.40 for each after (max 8 students)
Want to make sure you know everyone in your lesson? Do you have a family that wants to ensure a group lesson together? This hour and a half lesson with a nationally certified instructor may be for you.

Kinder Package 5 & Under
Ski or Snowboard

For children 5 & under, includes 1 hr lesson, lift, rentals with helmet. This is a private 1 on 1 and specifically designed for young children.

Ages 6 and over skiing/snowboarding, lifts and rental package including helmet. This is a group lesson with people of similar abilities. Note kinder age group must use kinder package.

CADS
(Canadian Adaptive Snowsports)
CADS Purpose:
To give people living with disabilities the opportunity to eliminate barriers that have prevented them in experiencing the Joy and Freedom of Snowsports. Not only in a fun and inclusive environment that embraces diversity but in an accessible community that treats each individual with respect.
Visual Impairments
We have knowledge, equipment, tactics and skills to support people with visual impairments to participate in snowsports lessons.
Physical Impairments
We have knowledge, equipment, tactics and skills for anyone who requires balance or mobility support to participate in snowsports lessons.
Cognitive Impairments & ASD
We have knowledge, equipment, tactics and skills for neurodiverse and developmentally diverse students to participate in snowsports lessons.
Upcoming Courses
CADS Level 1 (December 16 & 17, 2024)
The CADS Ski Level 1 or Snowboard Level 1 complete certification is for candidates interested in learning how to teach students across all four disciplines – ASD/CI, VI, Sitski and 3-4 Track/Outriggers. Candidates will learn tools and skills to safely and competently teach students of all abilities at a beginner level.
CASI Level 1 Instructors course (Canadian Association of Snowboard Instructors)


CASI certification is comprised of four levels. Level 1 is an introductory course designed to teach Instructors how to introduce snowboarding to beginning riders. Level 2 stresses more the intermediate level of riding skills. The Level 3 focuses on the advanced, and the Level 4 focuses on expert riding techniques, teaching and training skills.
Who Should Take This Course?
You should take this course if you love to snowboard, and have a desire to introduce new students to snowboarding. You should be confident and comfortable both communicating and demonstrating in front of a group.
Am I Ready?
The Level 1 Instructor standards require you to pass both riding and teaching evaluations. In order to help you achieve success on the course, we suggest you take the following steps in preparation, if they are available to you:
- Spend time working as an assistant/apprentice instructor, in order to see a beginner lesson in action.
- Book a lesson with a current CASI Level 1 Evaluator to get feedback on your riding ability in relation to the technical standard.
- Complete the Level 1 course e-prep workshops.

CSIA level 1 instructors course (Canadian Ski Instructors Alliance)
Who Should Take This Course?
The CSIA Level 1 Certification Course is open to anyone with an interest in learning about how to teach skiing. Candidates on the Level 1 Course will explore skiing technique and teaching methods on Beginner up to Intermediate terrain. Prerequisites:
- 14 years of age on the first day of the Course
- Confident parallel skiing on Intermediate terrain
Am I Ready?
CSIA Level 1 Certification includes skiing and teaching assessment and evaluation. In order to help you achieve success on the Course, consider the following preparation, if available to you:
- Spend time working or volunteering at a Snow School, to experience entry level lessons in action
- Book a lesson at a Snow School with a current CSIA Course Conductor to enhance your skiing ability and gain insight into the Level 1 Standard Description
