Do You Offer Staff Accommodations?
Accommodation is assigned on a first-come, first-served basis and spaces are limited. Please inquire with HR at hr@asessippi.com for details.
Additional housing options may also be available in Russell, Inglis, Roblin, and Cottage Cove. We encourage all applicants to begin securing accommodations as early as possible.
When do Seasonal Employment Positions Start?
Our season kicks off at the beginning of December, with a closing date in early April.
Start dates vary depending on the role. Snowmaking and certain operations positions may begin earlier, while some departments start closer to opening day. Most winter positions conclude in early April.
What Do You Look For in an Applicant?
We are looking for positive, reliable, and hardworking individuals who enjoy working as part of a team and creating great experiences for our guests.
Many positions require no previous ski resort experience. We value enthusiasm, willingness to learn, strong customer service skills, and a commitment to safety.
Certain jobs also have other qualifications that will be required.
What Will I Need in Order to be Hired?
You need to be legally entitled to work in Canada (have a SIN card) and have arranged for your own work permit. Depending on the position, you may require extra certifications, such as Food Safe, Serving it Right, First Aid, and Driver’s License. We will also conduct pre-employment reference checks.
We request all international applicants to apply immediately to secure an early job offer and enable time for visa processing.
Do you Hire International Applicants?
Yes, provided you have a valid Canadian work permit.
International applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada and provide the required documentation before employment can begin.
Because visa processing can take time, we encourage international applicants to apply as early as possible.

Can I Apply for More Than One Position?
Absolutely. If you’re interested in multiple opportunities, let us know in your application. Many employees also have opportunities to cross-train and assist in different departments throughout the season.
Will I Receive Training?
Yes. Most positions receive paid on-the-job training before the season begins. Department-specific training and safety orientations are provided to help employees feel confident and prepared for their role.
