Good to Know Before You Go
Equipment & Lift Passes
All ACES participants are responsible for their own ski or snowboard equipment and lift passes. Seasonal rentals and lift passes may be available for new participants. Contact the resort at 204-564-2000 for more information.
Lesson Times
ACES sessions run Sundays from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Please arrive with enough time to get geared up and ready for your lesson. If you’re running late, check in at the Ticket Desk or Snow School Office. Lessons finish at 4:30 PM. Parents or guardians should meet their child in the courtyard by the ski racks. If no one is there, the instructor will wait five minutes before bringing the child to the lower level near the Snow School Office. If someone else will be picking up your child, please let the instructor know.
Safety & Participant Needs
Please inform your child’s instructor of any allergies, medical considerations or additional support needs. If your child requires assistance using the washroom, please try to be available during the halfway break at the Sugar Shack.
Ability Groups
Participants are grouped according to their skiing or snowboarding ability. If an adjustment is needed after the program begins, the instructor will discuss the change with the parent or guardian. If you’re available to assist younger participants with getting to the chairlifts, please let your instructor know. We appreciate the extra help!
Cold Weather & Sick Policies
If Asessippi is open and lifts are running then we will hold the scheduled weekly session. In the event that Snow School has to cancel a session, a make-up session may be scheduled and you will be notified via email. In the event that a participant does not attend a session due to any illness or any other prior commitment your instructor will do their best to catch the participant up in a regular session but no make-up session will be offered.
Returning Aces please bring your development booklets to first lesson.
