WHAT TO PACK

Winter Activities

When you visit the prairies, conditions can change rapidly. Come prepared with a few different options of clothing. A toque, waterproof gloves, waterproof jacket, waterproof pants, long underwear, warm socks and quality goggles are important. Helmets are also highly recommended and are available for rent or purchase on-site. Sunglasses and sunscreen are also important on sunny days, and extra socks are helpful when fitting rental boots. Whether on the slopes or in the village area, layering will keep extra warmth trapped in, and it’s easy to adjust throughout the day.

If you don’t have gear, don’t sweat it. Our Rentals department has got you covered with skis and boards suitable for everyone from beginner to advanced! Plus, the Trails End Gift Shop has plenty of toques, gloves, helmets and more… they’ve got you covered for outdoor must-haves!
